About Us
About Roman Avery Academy
Roman Avery Academy was founded on the belief that education should do more than move students from one grade to the next. Learning should inspire curiosity, build confidence, and prepare students to thrive in the world beyond school.
At Roman Avery Academy, we create an environment where students are known, supported, and challenged to grow. With small class sizes, personalized attention, and a strong sense of community, students develop both the academic skills and personal character needed for long-term success.
Our goal is simple:
to guide students from early curiosity to confident independence.
The Roman Avery Learning Journey
Rather than focusing only on traditional grade labels, Roman Avery Academy organizes learning into seven developmental stages that reflect how children naturally grow as learners.
Each stage emphasizes the skills, independence, and mindset students develop as they progress through their education.
Spark → Discover → Explore → Investigate → Engage → Ignite → Launch
This journey begins in early childhood and continues through high school, guiding students from their first moments of curiosity to confidently stepping into their future.
A School Built for Growth
Students begin school at different ages and grow at different paces. Because of this, some age ranges overlap between stages. This allows Roman Avery Academy to focus on student readiness and development, ensuring that every student builds the skills needed before progressing to the next stage of learning.
From their first Spark of curiosity to their final Launch into adulthood, students at Roman Avery Academy experience an education designed to help them grow academically, socially, and personally.
Our Commitment
At Roman Avery Academy, we are committed to nurturing the whole student. Our teachers and community work together to support each child as they grow in knowledge, confidence, and character.
Because education is not just about what students learn today — it's about who they become tomorrow.
