The RAA Café is more than a coffee shop and student snack bar—it's a hands-on learning environment where students experience the daily operations of running a business.

From preparing beverages and serving customers to managing inventory and maintaining a welcoming environment, students learn responsibility, teamwork, communication, and hospitality in an authentic setting.

RAA Corner Store

Teaching More Than Spending.

Earn. Save. Spend. Learn.

The RAA Corner Store is an extension of our financial literacy program where students experience the value of earning, budgeting, saving, and making thoughtful purchasing decisions.

Students earn wages through classroom jobs and participation in school enterprises, then use those earnings to shop in the Corner Store for school supplies, books, spirit wear, and other fun items.

This real-world economy teaches lessons that can't be learned from a worksheet. Students begin to understand delayed gratification, responsible spending, goal setting, and the relationship between work and reward.

Entrepreneurship Christmas Market

At Roman Avery Academy, students don’t just learn about business—they build one.

Our Entrepreneurship Christmas Market is a hands-on, student-led experience where learners create their own businesses from the ground up and bring their ideas to life in a festive, real-world marketplace.

From product design and branding to pricing and sales, students take ownership of the entire process. The result? A dynamic holiday market filled with creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit.

Musical Theatre at Roman Avery Academy

Inspiring Confidence Through the Performing Arts.

At Roman Avery Academy, we believe every student deserves the opportunity to discover their voice, build confidence, and experience the excitement of live performance. Through our partnership with Music Theatre International (MTI), students have the opportunity to participate in licensed musical theatre productions featuring some of the world's most recognized and beloved shows.

From auditions and rehearsals to opening night, students experience every aspect of theatrical production while developing creativity, discipline, teamwork, and self-confidence.

Whether performing on stage, designing costumes, creating sets, operating lights and sound, or assisting behind the scenes, every student has the opportunity to play an important role in bringing a production to life.

Why MTI Matters

As an officially licensed Music Theatre International (MTI) school, Roman Avery Academy is able to produce acclaimed musicals while respecting the rights of the authors and composers who created them. This gives our students the opportunity to perform professionally licensed productions and experience the same standards used by schools and theaters around the world.

Service Projects

At Roman Avery Academy, even our youngest students learn the value of giving back.

As part of their annual service project, our Kindergarten and 1st grade students hand-sewed stuffed animals to share with residents at a local nursing home. During their visit, students spent time playing games, building connections, and delivering their handmade gifts with care and compassion.

This meaningful experience reflects our commitment to developing not just learners, but thoughtful, empathetic individuals who understand the importance of making a positive impact in their community.

Garden & Animals

At Roman Avery Academy, learning extends beyond the classroom and into the natural world.

Through our garden and animal learning spaces, students gain hands-on experience caring for plants and animals while developing responsibility, curiosity, and a deeper connection to their environment. Whether they are planting, harvesting, or helping care for animals, students are actively engaged in real-life learning that fosters independence and respect for living things.

These experiences help students understand where food comes from, how ecosystems work, and the importance of stewardship—all while having fun and getting their hands dirty.
